Terms of Service
Last updated 29 July 2026
These terms cover your use of leak-studio.com, the Leak Audit, and any services you buy from us. A separate written contract governs the specific work we do for you as a customer — where the two conflict, the signed contract wins.
1. Who we are
LEAK Studio is a trading name of [COMPANY NAME LTD], registered in England and Wales, company number TBC, registered office TBC · United Kingdom. VAT number: TBC.
Contact: hello@leak-studio.com.
2. Using the website
You may use the website for lawful purposes only. You must not:
- Try to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or its infrastructure
- Submit false or misleading information to any form
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to submit forms or crawl non-public URLs
- Attempt to reverse engineer or extract our source code
Rate limits and anti-abuse measures are in place. If you trigger them legitimately (e.g. resetting your details), email us.
3. The Leak Audit
The Leak Audit is a free assessment we offer to businesses that request one. By submitting the audit form you agree that:
- We may contact you at the email address and phone number you provided, using them to arrange, deliver, and follow up on the audit.
- Any numbers, estimates, or recommendations produced during the audit are indicative, not guaranteed outcomes. Real-world results depend on many factors outside our control.
- The audit does not create a contract to deliver paid services — any paid engagement will be covered by a separate written contract you sign.
4. Paid services
Where you engage us for a paid build (Answer Book, Get Found, Follow-Up, Run the Business) or a monthly retainer (Cover, Systems, Receptionist, SEO, Ads, Social, Video), the specific scope, price, payment terms, and deliverables will be set out in the contract you sign at the start of the engagement.
Typical terms include:
- Invoices are issued via Stripe and payable within 14 days.
- Monthly retainers are recurring subscriptions. You can cancel with the notice period stated in your contract (usually 30 days).
- Late payment may result in suspension of services until the account is up to date. We'll always warn you first.
- All prices exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. VAT is charged at the prevailing UK rate where applicable.
5. Intellectual property
The website, the Leak brand, the Leak Calculator, our written content, and our internal tooling are our intellectual property or licensed to us. Nothing on the site grants you rights to reproduce or resell it.
For paid work, ownership of deliverables (websites, automations, content) transfers to you on final payment, as specified in your contract. We retain the right to reference the work publicly (e.g. case studies, portfolio) unless you ask us not to.
6. Third-party services
Your services may depend on third-party platforms (Stripe, Google, Meta, etc.). We're not responsible for their availability, pricing changes, or terms. Where a third-party outage prevents us from delivering, we'll work with you to find a solution but no refunds are due for downtime caused by others.
7. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for anything that cannot lawfully be limited (including death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud).
Subject to that, our liability to you is limited as follows:
- For the free Leak Audit and any use of this website: our total aggregate liability is capped at £100.
- For paid services: our total aggregate liability is capped at the fees you have paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose (or, if the contract has been running less than 12 months, the total fees paid to date).
- We are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or any indirect or consequential loss.
8. Data protection
How we handle your personal data is covered in our Privacy Policy. Where we act as your data processor (e.g. building automations that touch your customer data), the terms of a Data Processing Agreement will apply — either the one annexed to your contract or a separate DPA we'll sign on request.
9. Termination
Either party may end a paid engagement in line with the notice period set out in the contract. We may suspend or terminate immediately if you breach these terms materially or fail to pay after reasonable chasing.
On termination we'll hand over deliverables you've paid for and return or delete personal data as required.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms. For material changes affecting existing customers we'll email you.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of the site.
